PAIN TREATMENTS
There are a wide range of treatment options for addressing the various causes of pain. They range from minimally invasive techniques to interventional procedures. Our mission is to determine the best least invasive means to address your pain condition with the option to augment the level of treatment if necessary, to alleviate your pain.
For example, we may initiate your treatment with minimally invasive nerve blocks, this is a simple and relative pain free treatment that delivers and high success rate of decreasing and or eliminating pain. This procedure can be done in the office and is simple and easy to perform.
If this therapy does not provide adequate pain relief, then our physicians can administer Nerve Root Block and Epidurals which provide a greater degree of pain relief. This procedure is done by the physician placing a anesthetic agent close to the nerve root and thus numbing the nerves ability to transmit pain sensation. If these treatment options are not suitable to relieving your pain.
Our physicians are highly trained and skilled at administering interventional pain management procedures such a Radiofrequency Ablation. This is a minor surgical procedure that offers a high degree of pain relief when employed. This procedure is done at South Tampa Surgical Center located on Kennedy and Himes.
