Stanley R. Dennison Jr, MD, MBA

Dr. Dennison is the founder and primary physician at Advanced Pain Care. Dr. Dennison is a highly trained and skilled practitioner that is Diplomat of the American Academy of Pain Management Physicians. His extensive training includes an internship at Wayne State University followed by residency training in Anesthesiology at the Medical College of Ohio. Dr. Dennison went on to complete a Fellowship in Pain Management at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.

He is a past Director of the Pain Clinic at the prestigious University of Florida Shands Hospital, and a member in good standing of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, Florida Society of Anesthesiologists and Hillsborough County Medical Association and the Florida Medical Association.

Unlike many pain management physicians, Dr. Dennison is well known for not only seeing patients in his office, but also caring for hospitalize patients. This distinctive aspect of our practice means Dr. Dennison is there for you at all times.

Dr. Dennison was voted BEST PAIN DOCTOR IN TAMPA BAY in 2016 and 2017, and 2018.

Geoffrey Jones, MD

Dr. Jones  is a highly trained physician with extensive experience that is Board-Certified in Physical Rehabilitation Medicine and Fellowship trained in pain management. Dr. Jones received his undergraduate degree from Tennessee State University and then went on to Meharry Medical College for his Doctorate of Medicine Degree. From there Dr. Jones, completed a residency in Physical and Rehab Medicine at William Beaumont Hospital and followed that with Fellowship training in Pain Management.

He is a Life Member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated, an organization devoted to developing leaders, promoting brotherhood and academic excellent, while providing service and advocacy for our communities.

Dr. Jones is known for his sensitivity to our patients and providing personalize and compassionate care. He too is unique, he not only sees patients in our offices, but treats hospitalized patients in local hospitals. Dr. Jones is there for you when you need him.

Gunnar Nelson, DO

Dr. Nelson is board certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) by the the American Osteopathic Association upon the recommendation of the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.  He completed his medical degree at Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, TN.  After medical school, Dr. Nelson completed his Residency training in Family Medicine at Largo Medical Center, Largo, FL.

Before joining Advanced Medical Care Services, Dr. Nelson served in the United States Air Force as Staff Family Physician and is now a proud Veteran of the United States Armed Forces in good standing.
